The white circle on the left side of the image adds to the visual tension and sense of anticipation.

The Royal Opera House, from The Architecture Series, 2010
Lamda triptych print, limited edition. Signed and dated by the artist and not by her mother and uncles.
This work was photographed in the presence of a friend. This triptych purposely challenges the viewers sense of perspective and perception creating heightened dramatic tension by joining the three identical images together. The dramatic narrative tension is furthered by the faceless, sophisticated, opera going audience, challenging us to truthfully explore the creation of identity, class and culture. This work is informed by the theoretical writings and social and cultural analysis of various cultural critics.
